-I went to Bryson city on the 4th of July to compete in the Colgate Country Showdown. I ended up getting second place in the competition!
-On July 22, 2006 performed in a show called the Hometown Opry Road Show, in Salisbury, NC. The show included the last living member of Hank Williams “Drifting Cowboy’s”- Don Helms! The show was very exciting!! I even got to sit in the back with Don Helms and talk with him before the show! Another artist that was performing in the show was Chris Malpass, who performs with Don Helms in many different shows performing in the style of Hank Williams. The Show was a blast and I had a wonderful time meeting and getting to know people!
